When you use this guide, this section is the over-arching "must" rule. In all cases, the rules for Bonuses override what you must do. It may disrupt some BPs, but the guide is compensating for this. How bonuses work in general is covered in Bonus.
In all cases, the Money Bonus should only be used within 3 BP of completion, and only if you are within 8000 Gold or less. In all cases, the Area Bonus should generally be used on every run twice, once at 10 BP, and once at 5 BP, but only if the player can access all of the areas in the zone without dying.
When searching for a zone to use for your next BP, these rules should be followed, in descending order of priority. Lower numbered priority bonuses should be used before higher numbered priority bonuses.
Once you meet the minimum requirements to get the Light Angel, ALWAYS should be activated, under all circumstances. No other bonus ranks higher priority than this when the minimum requirements are met.
Once you meet the minimum requirements to get the Purple Eye, ALWAYS should be activated, under all circumstances.
This bonus should be activated under all circumstances.
Regardless of which ??? you might have spawned (remember, there are three groups), ??? should always be accessed.
This bonus should only be accessed if the player is currently in nearest to the highest level zone the player can access. For example, if the player can reach Level 10000, the player should not try to access a MONEY x7 unless they are at least in level 8000 range.
This bonus should generally be accessed if the player is not currently grinding items, and is trying to get to a higher level zone faster, e.g. running an XP to the highest level. Also, XP x2 should only be used if the Level of the Zone is near the current level of the player, and if the player can survive killing the monsters.
MONEY x4, x3, x2 & XP 1.5x
All four of these bonuses should only be used if they are in the way, or nearby the current route. Otherwise, they are (near) useless bonuses, and should not be strived for under most circumstances.
When levelling a character, stats should be distributed in a generally specific way. However, whenever the numbers are being mentioned, this is the total number. For example, with 8000 (+16000) that is 24000.
When the player is trying to get to a new area, and doesn't need to get any items in the current zones, levelling disribution should be incremented equally between HP, ATK, and DEF, with AGI being 25% of the increment. For example, in the 10k increment, before you move on to the next increment, you should have 10k HP, 10k ATK, 10k DEF, and 2.5k AGI. This strikes a general balance between the stats and assures you that you will be able to provide the most amount of level differential.
The first playthrough will generally be unfruitful, but it is possible to get more items after the second or third playthrough. However, it is probably best to stay in the Level 1 zone for an extra 3-4 BP, even if the player can run down to Level 25. The reason is because of the following enemies:
When you finish a run, you should be trying to get the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Unlock, if possible. If you don't have enough money, you should get Weapons first, then Armor. Do not purchase any items until the end of the run, under any circumstances. It is best to purchase the most expensive possible weapon first, and the most expensive possible armor after that, then run down the weapons list, and then run down the armors list. After that, you should purchase the highest gems you can.
